Arabic Cultural Immersion Project
Immerse yourself in the historic culture of the Middle East in the beautiful city of Alexandria, Egypt.
Through the Arabic Cultural Immersion Project, Cultural Extremes offers you a unique opportunity to teach
English and learn Arabic while learning about the rich and complex culture of the Middle East.
The 10 week program includes:
- 4 week TEFL International TESOL course in Alexandria, Egypt
- 45 hours of one-to-one Arabic lessons or 60 hours of group lessons
- Cultural Immersion Activities
- 6 week teaching internship with TEFL International
- Accommodation
- Internationally-recognized TEFL certificate
Dr. Bill Leon, and instructor in the Program Evaluation department atthe University of Washington, specializing in Education Program
Evaluation, will develop a credit evaulation of your program for
university credit.

Program cost: US$1,890 (Training: $1,390; Housing: $500)
*Fees are determined based on rounded figures compiled from
averages. As we are willing and able to be flexible with
different schedules, some placements will cost more or less for
