Alexandria, Egypt
Nicknamed the Pearl of the Mediterranean, Alexandria is the perfect city to immerse yourself in the culture and language of Egypt. History comes alive in the city from the Pharaohs, to Alexander the Great, to the Crusades. Alexandria has been home to several wonders of the ancient world, from the Lighthouse and Library bearing its name to the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa.
Practice your Arabic skills by immersing yourself in the people through
visits to the scenic Montaza Palace and gardens or relaxing on the beach
at El Maamoura.
