Volunteer Nepal - Service Learning in Nepal - Nepali Orphanage School Project
From the beauty of Everest to the diversity of Kathmandu, this is an
experience that you will never forget. Volunteering within one of the
most breathtaking natural areas on earth is sure to change the lives of
others, as well as your own.

amazing 20 km radius.
• Nepal has the world's 8 tallest peaks and has justifiably been the
focus of some of the most outstanding achievements in the world of
mountaineering.
1. One week of training and one month of volunteering (Project fee:
$1,290 US)
- TESOL Certificate course training in Kathmandu, Nepal, for one week + self study ($400 on site + $300 monitored self study)
- Non-paid teaching position for one month as a volunteer in a local school.
- Accommodation all through the project ($250).
- Airport pick up ($50)

2. One month of training and one month of volunteering (Project Fee: $1990 US)
- TESOL Certificate course training in Kathmandu, Nepal, for one
month ($1,390)
- Non-paid teaching position for one month as a volunteer in a
local school ($200)
- Free accommodation all through the project ($350)
- Free airport pick up ($50)

*Fees are determined based on rounded figures compiled from
averages. As we are willing and able to be flexible with
different schedules, some placements will cost more or less for
accommodation based on length of stay and area. Please contact

Participants must be:
- At least 19 years old
- Competent English speakers
Dr. Bill Leon, and instructor in the Program Evaluation department atthe University of Washington, specializing in Education Program
Evaluation, will develop a credit evaulation of your program for
university credit.
